A Winter Past

A winter past
 not the type to
 go out in and play
 but just adore from
 the house inside
 open the curtains
 and take a peek
 after your long
 night sleep

A winter day
 oh later the kids
 could build a snow man
 while inside you stay
 Burrrrrr it 10 below
 who would know

A winter day
 the cold wind blowing
 at 30 mile an hour
 or so
 but not to worry
 your kept warm
 if you like it
 that way

A winter morning
 falling snow like
 it so pretty and
 shine like winters past
 as you look out your
 window glass

Hopefully by many people will soon be gone. Tornadoes already though. I live in Bolivia, NC right down street from Shallotte, NC. Pretty close to your name.
