A Whole Life In a Tear

9 may 2015 7:59 PM

When a baby is born they cry tears of life

Their daddy cries tears of joy as he kisses his wife

When they are small and get burned by the stove they cried tears of a hard lesson learned

When they misbehave they cry tears from discipline stern

First loves kiss then first heart break brings tears of pain as the soul is torn

Tears of joy when their own children are born

Tears of dissappointments to many to count
Lost jobs and opportunities that didn't work out

Old and worn and waiting to die
tears of longing and wondering why

Each tear carries with it a moment of their life so listen, have compassion and understand when they cry
