A White Day Off School

I look around
at this ground
thinking why didn't we
get this before

the lay of white
that fills our sights
why didn't
this happen before.

We can laugh and play
if we want all day
but when we come in hot coco awaits

life is full
of unexpected things
like and risk
a diamond ring
but snow brings a nice day in white

there could no school today
or luckily a two hour delay
but who cares snow is on the ground
and everyone is happy
we don't see frowns.
