A Whale of a Tale

There was a man called Jonah
whom talked to the one above.
He was told to go to Ninaveh
but run to the waves.
He paid his fare
and went below.
A mighty storm blows
the boat too and fro
as sailors tossed the cargo.
They awoke Jonah
and tossed him into the sea
where a whale
swallowed him whole.
He prayed from the belly
of the beast to God above .
Spit upon shore
he went to the Ninaveh.
He preached to Ninaveh
and they were saved.
