.He saw her
holding up a sign:
"Welcome Home Daddy", scrawled in
red crayon by a blue-eyed angel.
After months in the desert
this soldier found his
oasis.

Thank you, Judy! My son is in the army and he has a blue eyed baby girl. I just thought of him coming home from a deployment. Fortunately he has only deployed once to Afghanistan but made it home just in time to see his daughter born. Currently he's in Korea.
