Lots of really wild hummingbirds on the Apache Reservation that won't hesitate to attack you. Even their nests are a quite remarkable thing of beauty. I would send you a photo but soup mail does not allow attachments. Aloha! Rico

you've done a great job with this challenge, jan! i love the poem! i see hummingbirds at my country place and love to watch them at the feeders or dipping into flowers - they're very cool!

Indeed, the hummingbird's wings appear to be fluttering endlessly. I've seen them in Florida and in New Hampshire. Perhaps there are none in your area, but that didn't stop you from creating a beautiful entry for Bobby's contest. Best wishes for success, Carolyn
