A Warning

you think you know
you have no idea
before you realize
I disappear
all the sorrow
all the pain
swallowed down
comes back again
you need heed
the words I breathe
the world I've seen
sick obscene
my vision stained
we're all to blame
you laugh and you joke
it's the world that you choke
with every word that gets spoke
with every stick that you poke
buried humanity
consistent insanity
twisting thoughts
become twisted beliefs
in a viscous cycle
when will it cease
