A Wanton Whisper

A wanton whisper quickly said
Is never left for dead
It sits in wait while time goes by
And in a valley hidden doth it lie
Words soon forgotten are never lost
They never are not without a cost
So raise our voice so all may hear
and the the subtle truth ring out as a lyre
Speak clear as calming airs
Beware to trap them in complex layers
Give strength to all you say
and above all keep dragging deceit at bay
