A Walk To the Market

It’s a rainy snowy mix Not a nice day to walk to the market But I had to go, rain or snow On the sidewalk lay a mound of crumbs Two sparrows swooped down to fill their tums The two ate so fast than flew away Not one crumb was left on this wintery mix day At the market I selected three fresh rolls I crumbled the three they weren’t for me Outside the market one mound I left Halfway home another where they roam At my doorstep, last but not least The last mound of crumbs will be the third feast
