A Visitor
A VISITOR
I was just a roaming soul
Moving to and fro
Looking for a place to at least sojourn
A stone on which I could lay
Then I bumped into this world
It welcomed me warmly through a certain doorway
It gave me a place to stay
At a point I thought I was the only stranger on the land
Not knowing, so is every man
World of visitors
People arrive and depart
Sometimes without saying bye
I was wondering but I now know why.
It is no man's land so,
I am going to play my role as 'kojo'
When my time is due, I will go
From here, I will continue my journey
But my next journey requires my soul
So, I will never compromise it for achieving this land's goal
Never covet for the mineral I hold
For none of us brought silver nor gold
After all, I can only possess the gold within this land's parameters
When the time is due, I will let go of regardless
Remember we were strangers who became visitors
A home you and I can't own
I am a visitor
