A Visit To Paradise
A Visit to Paradise
We took a walk around paradise today,
God with all His great power put it on display.
We had a beautiful Carolina blue sky up above,
We had flash back memories of hunting quail and dove.
Two small brooks diverged at the woods below,
The crystal clear water seemed as pure as the snow.
We listened to the babbling brook as it danced by,
The water rushed on with its never ending supply.
We saw the circling of the hunter hawk,
He was searching for food as we stood there to gawk.
Rabbit and deer are all over this spread,
No way will the hunter ever go unfed.
The beauty of winter has set in over this place,
We have been subjected to its beauty by God’s grace.
So when you want to relax, go out into this land,
Reach up toward the sky and touch God’s mighty hand.
