A Victim of Florence

A Victim of Florence

We are having to stay at Comfort Suites
in Cary, NC until Thursday and hopefully
by then highways and roads will be clear
and we can safely return 150 miles home
to Bolivia, NC. It is costing us $100 a night
and hope our National Homeowners Insurance
will cover some of it. I have not written a 
poem in a week now. Florence has really
been messing over my mind.

James Horn September 23, 2018 at 6:32 AM Conway to Georgetown, SC are still having high water. Glad it is over here. Water had flooded over the Lockwood Folly River Bridge and finally has gone back down. Took us 8 hours to get home from Cary, NC where we had evacuated to. Normally takes 4.
