A Vampire's Kiss
The translucent look of his pale flesh
His eyes held mine they did enmesh
His fingers long and thin, me supine
As upon my blood he then did dine
That first kiss almost hypnotic
From frail frame yet so erotic
Mesmerised as teeth pieced vein
Subtle, surprising, I felt no pain
As my life force poured it left me weak
His strength now grew, my future bleak
Immortal soul he promised in trade
For that first kiss is what he paid
In my bed I wait for night
I can’t be seen in broad daylight
I feed on unwary men
Until I am fully nourished again
For human blood I daily crave
Yet my want is peace inside my grave
To suck another life force away
I relinquished my death the price I pay.
