A United Nation
I long to live in a world where love and peace
reign.
Where all will know true freedom no matter
what.
Where homelessness cease to exist, all over
the land.
Where folk embrace their fellow man to become
a united force.
Where folk that share different views meet in the
middle,
So they could sit down eye to eye and reach a
common goal.
Where folk will show kindness to others no matter
their race, gender, age, political affiliation, or
religion.
Where folk can see each other as their brother from
another mother.
We must remove the stumbling blocks of discord
so healing can take place
And realize we're a broken people, cry out to God
as well fall on our face.
*This may not cut it, but the awesome contest inspired
me to enter.
