A Tyrants Madness
A wraith in the night
Dark embered eyes
face of granite
Preying on the weak
Seeking out the marked
Innocence of light
Stranger to dark
they are his purpose
Their only crime their race
Punishment and persecution
his Reign of insanity
Cloaking purpose with good intentions
Segregation a joke
herding them like beasts
Weaving his evil spell
False security abounds
Knowledge hidden from sight
Religion a mark to be carried
Their sacred Books burned
Unveiled their innocence
A revelation
herded into carriages’
eternity awaits
their destination
chambers of death
Their ashes floating
carrying a story
of hope lost
lives wasted
Dreams gone
But as the phoenix
their ashes arose
Flying
The wraith
A distant memory
never to be forgotten
His blood-lust his madness
Exterminated ..
