A Twisted Thing Is Fate
I looked at the hour
the hour was late
I came upon a reason
a reason for fate
Fate is to keep us
all in straight in a row
to keep us set on course
until we arrive in tomorrow
but what about the other ones
those of us that won't obey
the ones defiant to listen
what of their coming day
I say with great hope
that they will see all good things
because it is not good
to know what tomorrow brings
