A Turn To Want

A Turn to Want

Look at all that we have done
And it wasn't for lack of trying
And when we got torn apart
Inside I felt like dying

So I took a pen and paper
And wrote you how I feel
When normally I'd just sit and play
The cards that life would deal

You seemed a bit withdrawn
Then responded with such haste
I knew that I found something
I surely could not waste

But faster then it started
Trouble reared its head
Yet we both stood firmly
And would not let it end

So as we face the future
And all it has in store
I hope things go much better
Than they did before
