A True Friend

When you've no power
 within your own being
 you really need a friend
 who will give you hope within

 Someone to depend upon
 one to put all your hope
 when you've got no one else
 you need a hand to grip your rope

 A friend to pull you to the end
 one to go your last mile
 no matter the ultimate cost
 showing no man's an isle
