A True Friend
A friend is not defined by skin-
Neither of his blood within-
If love from them does ring true-
Above it all shall stay with you-
To them is known the gentle art-
To leave on you a love made scar-
Upon your smile, mind and heart-
The trust of you he cannot mar-
