A Tribute To Jason

Just nineteen So much of his life yet to be seen When you feel all alone You’re not...just pick up the phone When you are feeling blue Know there are people here for you There is a light You just need to find the strength to fight It may be dim now But soon it will glow Life is full of ups and downs Happiness, sadness, laughter and frowns Despite the contrary It's all temporary It can change in the blink of an eye Ending your life leaves your family to wonder why Why you did not turn to your family and friends? Why did you choose to seek an end? To a life that had only just begun A song that hadn't finished being sung There were still so many chapters of your story to write So why, why did you end your life? Why didn't you put up a fight? It just doesn't seem right To those struggling please seek help There are still so many flowers to be smelt Join the walking angels and support a worthy cause No one should have to come home to an empty house or endure such a loss A house filled with memories of a loved one Whose battle was not won Copyright Lori Harrington 2017
