This poem is dedicated to my Grand-daughter Rhiannon

It was inspired by a beautiful picture presented by Caroline Cecile
hold it to your ear my dear and listen as its sound is clear the hissing ocean waves depart and leave such thrills upon ones heart the sound it echoes loud then soft imagining the breeze aloft you close your eyes and visualize the ships at sea and what might be you hear the tide both ebb and flow as nature plans to keep it so a treasure found and held so tight you make a wish with all your might so hold it to your ear my dear and listen as its sound is clear imagine where you want to be perhaps a sailing ship at sea...

Early morning reading to get the mind buzzing. Thank you for sharing your excellent poetry Sharon. Have a fabulous weekend and I hope to see more of your poetry when I get back to the Soup Monday. Usually pretty busy on the weekends with family so don't get to read much. Love, Carol
