A Trap

Starts out as a drink one time before you know it, it's every night. Stopping at your favorite spot on your way home from work. Looking forward to having a drink grab a cup and pour it in. Sit alone on the couch as you watch your life play out, on the shadows of the walls. Turn the light on to erase it all. Thinking to yourself how did life unravel so quick? I was only looking for a fix. with bottle in hand you walk to the sink knowing it needs to stop now you pour it out..
