A Tranquil Afternoon

As the rain weeps
It's nourishing tears,
i read in brevity of thought.
Quietude...

Spared this day
Of the gardens toil.
As the rain paints its pictures
Upon a windows pane.
Solitude...

With evening brings
This symphony of sounds
The patter of rains,
A release of thunder's.
Rest...

At home,alone.
A tranquil afternoon.

May these simple words,
Bring to you a peace-ful rest.
