A Touch of Nature

The sound of the rain is near.
The sunshine of the day is gone.
A place to rest.
A fireplace to keep warm.
Months that passed away leaves the green grass dead.
Winter has begun.
The church steps are white.
The flow of the air is cold.
The area is empty.
The streets are covered in snow.
The cabinet doors are open to what keeps you warm.
The view out the window;
The beauty of the snow;
A pleasant day it is.
Months that passed away.
A new year begins.
A journey of a season starts all over again.
The sound of the rain.
The sunshine of the day is gone.
A place to rest.
A fireplace to keep warm
