A Time Just In Time

A Time Just in Time
David J Walker

I was looking at us
As a couple through time
And wondering
Which picture should we 
Leave behind
	To pass forward 
As the one image we hope 
They would find most
Defining of our love
Most defiant of our time
Reaching as far
into the future as we 
can imagine as they 
even now are reaching back
hoping to touch us
and learn as much as they can
from some pictures
	and some papers
and the words printed on
the pages of our lives
