A Time For Us
Oh, there will be a time for us
Say smarter men than I
And when it comes and when it's here
We'll know it by and by
Then who am I to pout and frown
I know naught of these things
But, oh, 'tis hard - 'tis hard my friend
For what the morrow brings
And I am young and so is she
Dark things lurk in the night
Dollars to earn, a war to wage
A scale for wrong and right
But then young love is for the young
The quest not when but how
And it will fit with all the rest
A time for us is now
