A Time For Change
Amidst the chaos of life's decisions,
Stands a soul, wrapped in indecision.
Countless nights spent in reflection,
Endless thoughts seeking redemption.
A heart that beats with guilt and pain,
Trembling with fear of what may remain.
A soul that aches to feel hope again,
But succumbs to the weight of past disdain.
The world outside paints a bright hue,
Yet darkness looms within; nothing new.
Perception becomes the enemy of the mind,
As positivity fades, leaving little to find.
For every mistake, a lesson awaits,
A chance to learn, a new slate.
Acceptance of one's own flaws,
Breaks free from self-criticism's jaws.
Embrace the present, leave the past,
With a positive approach, sail fast.
For happiness awaits those who try,
A new dawn, a fresh day, under the sky.
