A Time

The rain is lovely with you Hearing pitter patter under the moon As time seems timeless with you A moment of comfort so soon Then thunder cries lightening the sky Your nerves jump starting race I lay on your chest to feel your heart pace A drum beating fast in this place The rain brings me back As the cleaning begins every drop Impact our skins to race down the window who wins Heavily it pours All day to night Lightening every five minutes You dare me to walk with you in the storm To let are fears alone Just rain just water cleaning the earth D.P. // A Time Written: 9/1/15
