A Thousand Rooms

Yonder stands the house with a thousand rooms
See it from afar before darkness looms
It stands forever as we measure time
One second ends forever at the chime

Take pleasure in each room for what it brings
Move to the next before the buzzer rings
As life progresses roughly door to door
Take heart that there's at least one second more
