A Thousand Poems of Love
A prisoner of your glances
Your beauty I must inhale
My mind sketches your silhouette
Each morning without fail
My lungs are filled with only your name
For it's a prisoner of my lips
Your smile is looked at cautiously
Like the glow of a solar eclipse
Your eyes are like the ocean's blue
Your whisper, a summer's breeze
Your voice is like a sinner's prayer
That brings me to my knees
You're the keeper, of a thousand dreams
A legend, in the hearts of men
Your love will be my first and last
My beginning and my end
The poets of old, have written your name
In a thousand poems of love
For whenever they speak of beauty
It's you, they're speaking of
