A Thousand Lives

If I had a thousand lives
Not one of them
Could serve as well
As you wait for me today

If I had a thousand tongues
Not one chorus
Could voice a song
As sweet as your melodies

If I had a thousand souls
Not one mind
Could give me a state
Of being like your thoughts

If I had a thousand words
Not one poem
Could paint the beauty
Captured deep in your eyes

If I had a thousand years
Not one lifetime
Could compare to you
My crown and glory

If I had a thousand loves
Not one woman
Could do me well
As you still do me today

Dedicated to my Wife, Mychelle
