A Thought

Catch a fleeting glimpse of a train
Ride it as far as it goes
Through the lush green hills and valleys
An eagle that freely sores

Sun lit meadows and sparkling streams
Heal your heart and weary soul
Dew coverd grass that hug your feet
Feel the urge to have it all

Delight too much and fall is dire
Snap of reality is deafening
Down a familiar bottomless pit
Can't escape your reckoning
