A Teasing Muse



               Again, she bid me write upon that warm dark desert night

           Pen was hidden from my sight, a sleepy poet's sorrowed plight

               And in her flippant way upon a moonbeam's silver ray

              With a tinkling, teasing giggle, she then swiftly flew away
