A Tearful Song

I still hear your name in the silent night…
It drifts away from my teary sight…
I couldn’t stand or breathe on my own…
The same old story with the pages torn…
But you went away leaving me to be strong…
A masking smile and a tearful song…
My strength sits in my words…
All through the day it screams to be heard…
