A Talk With God

My gracious heavenly father
I humbly bow my head
To thank you where have led me
And are taking me.
I come before you know
asking to be with me
As I tarry along
This path today.
Be with those whose heart
Is weak
And with the sick.
Let your will be done
As you are one
Who knows what will be done.
Bless the writers
And poets
Keep them strong.
Forgive us when we fall short
Of your love today.
Thank you for your son
Whom you gave
That all men will be saved.
Be with this country lord
For they not no where to go
Since they have forsaken you.
