A Tale Told

So I am a tale told You were not at all impressed What was new, became old As you (long ago) guessed And my love was in vain You did not value me I can’t ring you again You won’t hear, you won’t see Its important to unfriend! You’re accustomed to this Words and emails we sent You have dissed See me there one day If you wish, (you may not) In a sunny array There I’ll be, just a spot And the new moon will rise Like it does, and will do And perhaps you will smize If at last there’ll be you.
