A Tale of Two Dreams

I awake to a quiet peaceful sky
An energy encourages me to fly
My view is spectacular
As I hover over gases and matter
I'm intrigued by a spinning sphere
So colorful and so clear
Valleys, plains, and mountains
Surrounded by vast open seas
Reach out and pull forcefully
I am enslaved by its majesty

I am awakened by a burning sky
I struggle to lift off and fly
My surroundings are chaotic
With gases and debris
I am lost in this spinning sphere
Nothing is certain or clear
Valleys, plains, and mountains
Are occupied by a terror
That reaches out forcefully
And enslaves a lost majesty.
