A Tale of Immortal Love Part Ii

So Janet tried just like before, She persevered and even more, She brought him gifts and more and more, She played him tunes and wrote him songs. But Roger was so plainly stupid, His heart was so dead, so still and rigid, He did not realize how much Janet loved him, For his mind was venturing on another garden. But the love of Janet was so pure and blind, She patiently waited for the time to come, That the boy Roger would then understand That her love for him was so dear divine. Her martyrdom was so enshrined, As if she dies without his love, She only knew that love is kind, She didn’t think her love was blind. For what reason, she could not think, Why his heart was so aloof, As if his heart was wiped to clean- Or was he just afraid? For Janet was not what you think she was, Her beauty outshined the goddess above, Her skin was so soft, so tender and white, Her lips were pouty and so red like blood. She was so tall to be miss universe, Her brain could best a beauty queen, Her eyes shined bright like diamonds, She could turn heads without commands. And she was not depraved nor mean, She was so enduring, so kind and loving, She would always find ways to understand, She would always lend a helping hand. And then the years have passed again, The time was ripe for both to dream, His time to learn new ways to live Had finally come to a thrilling end. And so Roger went faraway To some places across the sea, He worked and worked to build his dream, Ignoring her love again and again.
