A Syllable Missed
'An apple a day keeps the doctor away.'
Why an apple a day
Why not a peach, a plum or a pear
Well, day rhymes with away
Whereas peach rhymes with leech
Plum with bum and pear with scare
~ What's more, a whole syllable's not there
