Many thanks, Arturo. And yes-- it is a cosmic irony that the only thing that is truly permanent is impermanence itself. Even Spacetime will come to an end.

Thanks for your kind comment, Kim! (Although I think designating "Carpe Diem" as a "form" is misleading, since in reality the poem can be in any form --that is, have any architecture, so to speak -- but must have a consistent theme ["Eat, drink, and be merry..."]-- hence it is rather more a "genre", wouldn't you agree?) Anyhow-- thanks again!
