A Sunny Day

I miss the warmth of the summer sun.
It has been traded out for the the freeze haze
that stills life in a winter daze.
I miss the blaze
that illuminates the sky.
Because now in the winter so cold,
the light from the sun seems faded and old.

Today here in southwestern Michigan its a blustery cold day. It is 14 right now and wind chill makes it feel like its -2! Also it is snowing. I would welcome 40 although it might take all week to get there. Thanks for your kind words.
