A Summer Poem

In solitary bloom --
Mid afternoon that day
I stood at the doorway
For a moment in time
I was a small child
Enraptured by wild
Flowers and gentle breeze
Serenity of these
Watered blueberries and
Green grass with white fences
Tickling my senses

Memories of summertime when I was young are some of my favorite thoughts to visit. I still feel like a kid when walk outside on a beautiful summer day. Very nicely written Trisha.
