A Summer High

Within these endless summer waves
your liquid magic makes me high
while through your tunnels I do ride
you course around me as I glide
and thrill my being, while I crave
more of your magic, liquid high.

Interesting... "Liquid magic". Could mean so many things. With that aside lol, EXCELLENT write! I love this style of poetry and you definitely made it look good! I am very interested in attempting a triolet!

It's not a drug high, as some would think, in this instance. My write is based on a visual of a surfer in a wave from Andrea's latest poetry contest :)

Thanks, Jan. My first attempt at a triolet AND iambic pentameter! Hope I got it right :)
