A Sudden Wind

The banging of windows, The in throwing of dry leave and twigs And the Halleluah chorus of the lively trees Shook me wake and drew me to my window seal. An angry wind blows over my sweat moist brow, Dust contaminates the alread hot atmosphere And my breathing system does nothing but respond. The once blue sunny sky turns to grey. Somewhere above, Angry roars sound. Toddlers run to their mother's bosoms While the elder children draw the wide transparent windows And quickly cover them with sun sprayed curtains. Less, lesser and lesser noise still sounds. Let Him do His work. One Two Three Four people still walk on the streets, The rest are already obedient to His voice.
