A Stranger's Eye To Face My Maker
One day warm; next day cold,
A life time place once my home.
The out-skirts barrier looking in
stand dazed and confused....
A broken heart cry's no one
listens I step away from the only
one thats true...
She'll continue to weep knowing
she's not adequately equipt by
facing this world alone is not enough.
A child now looks for comfort to
A stranger's eye! trust that I will be
safe to return to walk these streets
where I was once special to heart,
I'd hoped to salvage consequences of
action to face my maker.
