A Strange Noise

A STRANGE NOISE
A scary house is where we lived when we were small.
Strange scratches coming from inside the wall.
Getting up was dad and mom, brothers and me.
Beside our house was a great big tree.
There was strange noise that we all heard.
Mom said hush children not another word.
Dad walked out on the porch to see what he could see.
He said it was just a possum trying to get free.
