A Strange Love Story

I saw you crossing by my side And my heart felt very light Then you smiled at me Is this easy love can be? We started walking together In a hot and cold weather Like two strangers who knew each other To them the, world doesn’t bother Then she held my hand in fear By seeing a dog in pain, she couldn’t bear I kind of liked her behavior I could sense her feeling which was a bit heavier I only liked her because of her kindness A thing that I want to confess Now I can proudly say that I too had a love story That I want to tell everyone with a glory Till death, I will love her Even if for her, I’m a stranger

I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Samrat. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I am going to see if I can write something for a couple contests this weekend. Hope you find the inspiration to do the same. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. Love, Carol
