A Story Told

Welcome to the greatest story ever told, the story of a little boy and his lost soul, started way back in 69', born a 4th child to a broken woman, you know the kind, four kids from a man who walked away, four after him all the same way, no father just a mom who'd been burned, lonly as her world turned, poverty, drugs , and gang life took her kids from home, sitting in her room crying with no love and all alone, forced to grow before my time, I seen it all statistically making would be a crime, seen the dead, the murdered, the killer life lost in rage, innocents in a cage. watched as mothers cried, fathers left, brothers died,as sisters in fear hid, push to the edge, pushed my luck, only to find if I stayed this way in hell I'd be stuck, packed a paper bag with what I had, turned and walked away lonly, angry and sad, stranger in a strange land when I awoke, disgruntled, painful words were all I spoke, knowing this life is no joke, found the person I was should disappear, no one would know or have to hear this poor boys tears, put a grin on my face and hope in my heart , dust off lifes dirt & made a new start , "He'll never make it," is what they use to say, 20 years have passed now, look at me today, a loving father faithful husband who finally took a chance, a person who loves life and is no longer afraid to take this dance, life dealt me a hand many poeple in this world hold, but I won't use it as an excuse for this storys been told.

Amazing write, this reminds me of my Daddy. His father, my grandpa left him in a bar when he was 5...my Nana had 15 kids in total with no dad to parent them, then my Stanpop came and though he was 19 years old and my Nana was 20 years his senior, and none of the kids were his, he took them all on and delt with all their b/s...this story that you just laid down, sounds just like my Daddy =) <33 Jese
