A Story Told

Yesterday I observed my wife while she was watching “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” Quietly saying prayers while she watched it showed how Jesus was bold. The Romans ruled Judea, Herod the second was a puppet King taking Roman orders. Rome the powerhouse of the Western world ruled from border to border. John the Baptist yelled to the people to repent the Kingdom of our Lord was at hand. The Romans could maim, kill, crucify, but the Jews’ spirit could not be broken, understand? Feared ruled the day, Julius Caesar was a man made God; he of course instilled pagan Gods. So they ruled by tyranny and force crucifying Christians putting blood of innocents on Judea’s sod. In that age Judea was a conquered nation. Rome’s strength and tyranny ruled with condemnation. Jesus and his faithful followers brought fear to this pagan nation the greatest force on earth. Herod, evil incarnate, had put Jewish children to the sword, but by Joseph listening, trusting the true God, He saved Jesus and history records His birth. “The Greatest Story Ever Told,” the movie was a visual masterpiece. After watching, my wife I think had her mind at rest and at ease. Our Faith in the Father has made our marriage strong and we know He will guide “Us” through. I recommend you watch this film, and see in faith what it truly means to your family and you. In closing, your Faith in Christ Jesus will conquer any adversity. So seeing with the guidance of the Holy Spirit keeping God’s Commandments to love all, loving all your neighbors in your community. We are all on the path, slim as it may be, tyrants and bullies can’t take your immortal soul. Knowing as true Christians that a better place, a better world will soon be here, with Jesus in “Us” we will be spiritually whole

You are on the roll as always, Robert! Continue the path of spreading God's truth in your writing. The only cure that the world needs is Love...the pur love that God has for us...the love which he feels and paid the ultimate price with his life for. Blessings to you and Sharon. I'm off today so I have more time to spend here on Soup! Hope you've had a good day and wish you a very good week, my friend. Love, Annalise
