A Star's Heartbeat
When we see stars shining
Dazzling the skies at night
Sparkling like diamonds
A truly magnificent sight
It must be a gift from God
For all Humanity
Every night there in the skies
For everyone to see
How did they get there
Up above so high
How is a star born?
Does it ever die?
It is like most births
Difficult to explain
I will try to unearth
More information to make it plain
Heat, Mass, Gas, Dust and Cloud
Held together by gravitation
It is a star system
Called a Constellation
Stars have a core the same as us
We are made of the same Star Dust
I won't go into detail on what makes stars shine
I am deLIGHTED I am part of their design
I have enjoyed writing this simple ditty
It makes me feel aGLOW and very pretty
